The Siren Scarf
This is the perfect year round accessory. Wear as a sarong at the pool or beach. Wear as a scarf in the cooler months. My favorite is the dove/cream color combination. All proceeds are being donated to college expenses for freshman starting college this fall after mom’s passing in January. https://www.indiahicks.com/event/donna-vaught/shopping

Street Style/Your Style
No Sweat Jogger Jeans
We’ve all seen the late night commercials for The Pajama Jean, and certainly a few have been tempting. Exactly, how comfortable are your jeans? Wouldn’t you love to get the look without the discomfort? Clients ask me daily if the skinny jean has past it’s prime. While the skinny is here to stay, another trend has come on strong this year…the jogger jean. Because I am all about fashion forward comfort, I decided to give them a try. And I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the look, the fit and the comfort! These are a must have for this summer. I wore them with some fun Jimmy Choo sandals and cream tank and a silk untucked W by Worth plaid top. They would also be so cute with a slouchy white tee, stylish sneaker and matching scarf.
It’s a jungle out there!
Zebras, Cheetahs, Pythons and Leopards! It’s a jungle out there. I hosted a W by Worth trunk show for three days this week. With all of the untamed animal print in the house, I was feeling pretty wild. So I decided to create some fun looks with animal print. The prints are so abundant this […]

Chic mom
Love the idea of quality basic tees and detailed jeans for the chic mom. Add a fun scarf to dress up or change the look. The vegan moto is a perfect way to stay on trend without breaking the bank.

“Things are worth what they will fetch at a sale.” -Edward Coke
As you know I have been selling W by Worth for well over a year now. 6 seasons to be exact! It has been a perfect fit for me. I get to work from home while doing something I love! I have been creating virtual and real closets for my clients and wardrobing them with some beautiful clothes that they will own forever!
At the same time I have been doing closet cleanout/organization and style consulting. I have offered services to stay at home moms, charity leaders and business professionals. After a closet clean out, I offer to take clothes to resale and charity. My resale shop does a great job at marketing all sorts of items from a plain Gap t-shirt to fabulous Tory boots. I offer W credit or cash for items that sell.
The problem is, my resale shop takes a 50% cut, offers a limit of 60 days to turn over, and pays only at the end of the 60 days. This being said, I started thinking… I can do better!
So I started reselling clients items myself via ecommerce. This has been a win-win for me and my clients. They get more W credit OR cash, (I offer full value for W credit or 75% for cash back) they get paid bi-weekly, and I can sell as long as necessary. At some point we will get something for it. Whatever doesn’t sell after 90-120 days, I will give to Genesis Women’s Shelter and provide them with a receipt. (And I sell kids clothes too).
Here is where I need your help. I am looking for an original, catchy name for my resale business. (It’s growing faster than I ever expected, and I’ve got to get it on the books right away). Allen has suggested names like “Donna’s Esale” or “rags to riches.” Both of which I like, but I think we can do better. Want to help?
I am offering $200 in W credit to the person who comes up with the absolutely best name! (i.e. the one that we use) This is going to be my business name, website name, eCommerce handle, etc.
Are you creative? Want some help in your closet? Want some gorgeous W clothes? Send me an email with you ideas by midnight Friday, March 1. And come spend your $200 on Saturday. (Or during the summer show in April)
1…2…3…go!!!
And thank you!
